About the Apollo Judo Club The Apollo Judo Club was founded in 1981 and was originally based in a village called Littledean, after that we moved again before in 1986 we moved to our current home at Drybrook Memorial Hall and we changed our name to “Apollo Judo Club”, since then this has become our permanent base. In 1996 the club became a
member of the British Judo Association (BJA), Western Area, since then
the club has grown in stature and size with players competing and grading
regularly. The club is always looking for new players of all ages and sexes, and is currently looking for some sponsorship. At present the club has one qualified Senior Club Coach, and one qualified Club Coach. We are hoping that soon some of our seniors will take their their coaching awards. The Apollo Judo Club is based as said earlier at The Drybrook Memorial Hall in the Forest of Dean. |
